I have long been firm in my conviction that I am not a poncho person. I am cold, like, all the time, and I need sleeves. But at the same time I’ve been known to pile on multiple sweaters and wrap up in a blanket besides, so maybe a poncho (or wearable blanket of sorts) would be more efficient.
And then I’ll see a pattern like the Farmer’s Daughter Poncho from Lavanya Patricella and I will think, well, maybe I am a poncho person after all.
This pretty multicolored brioche stitch wrapper is delightfully drapey and squishy (I mean, come on, the yarn is even called Squish!).
It’s worked with one main color throughout and three contrast colors to add depth to the woven texture.
You can get the pattern on Ravelry for $6.50.
