I don’t know about you, but I love to knit baby blankets for new little people. But sometimes a plain rectangle or square can be a little boring.
The good news is there are plenty of options that make blanket knitting a little more interesting, such as knitting a circular blanket from the center out.
The blogger at Measured and Slow recently shared with me her version of a variegated spiral baby blanket. It’s based on the Round or Pinwheel Baby Blanket pattern from Genia Planck from the KnitList. She added a little ruffle at the edge and used a colorful cotton yarn , which is great for summer and machine washable, which new moms are sure to love.
