February is Heart Month, and even though we’re at the end of the month, it’s always a good time to raise awareness of the fact that heart disease is the biggest killer out there and we all need to be aware of our risk factors and the possible warning signs of a heart attack (and how they’re different in men and women).
Melanie from Craftown designed the Make 1 Give 1 scarf in both knit and crochet to help raise awareness of this important issue. This knit version is worked mostly in garter stitch with a stockinette stitch section at each end where there are rows or eyelets.
It’s a pretty easy and quick knit, so you can make one for yourself and one for charity without too much trouble. And you know it’s still going to be cold for a while, so this might be a great project to take on this weekend!
