Multicolored sock yarn is a lot of fun for projects beyond socks! This Brindle and Blend Shawl from Knit Picks is a great example. It uses two different colorways of multicolored sock yarn, and you can either use two that coordinate or contrast for completely different looks.
The project is worked in Garter Stitch and has streaky stripes caused by alternating colors. It also has a cute picot edge that gives it a casual, feminine look.
