This time of year I want knitting projects that are quick and easy and that I can wear right away.
Gina Michele’s easy tank knitting pattern is just that sort of project. It’s knit in a flash, in two pieces of almost all Stockinette Stitch, attached to each other with little tabs. There are no seams, so it’s a great option for people who might want to knit garments but are a little intimidated by them (though of course you could sew up the sides, leaving a gap for the armhole).
The yarn she used is a blend of acrylic and alpaca, so it’s got a bit of warmth and softness while still being machine washable.
What are you knitting for spring? I’d love to hear what you’re working on.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
