I love baby blankets because you can make them a million different ways and everyone needs them.
This Waterfall Baby Blanket by Leelee Knits is really pretty and uses simple repeating cables to make a pattern of cascading waves.
I like it because it’s maybe a little more grown up than some baby knitting patterns, which is great for parents with a more modern style. It’s lovely in a mostly solid color with speckles, and would also be great in a solid or ombre/tonal yarn.
Do you have a favorite baby blanket pattern? I’d love to hear about it!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
