I almost wish my little one (who is about to turn seven!) were a little littler so that I could make her this super cute toddler towel.
The Rub-a-Dub Squeaky Clean Toddler Hooded Towel, designed by Jodi Roush for HiKoo Rub-a-Dub yarn, is a super simple knit. Worked in big stitches on big needles, it’s basically a Double Moss Stitch pattern (which reads like basketweave at this large gauge).
The towel is worked as a rectangle, then stitches are bound off, while others are divided to work the hood in two pieces, which are then joined by a three-needle bind off.
The pattern is available as a free download, and you could easily make it bigger to suit a larger child (or make a really big one without a hood for an adult to use). So cute!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
Omg I love this pattern, it is getting saved KnittyKnattyLaura
