I have never really been that into ponchos, but each time the come back into style I feel myself getting a little weaker.
I particularly love big, bulky, but otherwise simple designs like this turtleneck capelet/poncho from Modern Crafting. It’s mostly Stockinette with some ridges of Seed Stitch worked in for texture, and Garter Stitch edgings to slow the roll.
You could knit this up in no time, in whatever color you like if white scares you, and still wear it this season for the cold that’s sure to come, regardless of what some groundhog says.
