If you have a tween or teen with a cell phone, this is a great little project to knit up for them. Or for anyone young at heart who enjoys sugary treats. Or for a teen or tween knitter to whip up for themselves. Or, you know, sew all the sides closed and have a Pop Tart to play with. I won’t judge.
Kristen at Studio Knit developed this pattern for back to school, but it would be a fun holiday gift (especially with a phone inside…) or a just because present for a special person in your life.
It’s worked as a mini purse with an I-cord strap, but you could leave that off and just have it as a sleeve. Or make it a mini purse for a younger kid who likes bags (don’t they all?). The possibilities are endless for this one.
The pattern has written instructions, tons of pictures and a video tutorial so it’s great even for newer knitters. I’d love to know if you give it a try!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
