St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, so if you’d like to knit something green in a jiffy, check out this simple and really cute knit shamrock from Knits’ End.
The pattern is made up of three heart-shaped pieces worked in Stockinette Stitch that are then stitched together. A little I-cord is used to make the stem.
This is such a great little project that you can make in a day or so. I love the idea of using it on an apron; you could even leave the top open and make it a pocket. Or just knit one or some to use as decorations.
How would you use this little pattern? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
