My husband’s office all dressed up as characters from Green Eggs and Ham for Halloween, and husband went as the mouse (“I do not like them in a house, I do not like them with a mouse”). I think he looks more like a rat, frankly, but what really makes the outfit, if I do say so myself, is the tail I knit him.
He asked for a long pink tail, so I grabbed some Red Heart Super Saver and size 7 US needles. I used the Turkish cast on and cast on 20 stitches, then worked in the round for about 3 feet and finished it off with a three-needle bind off.
I’m pretty sure the girl will adopt this when Halloween is over, and it would be a lot of fun — and easy! — to make these in different colors for the dress-up box.
Did you craft anything for Halloween? I’d love to hear about it!
