So I decided I needed a pair of Croc Socks. Found a pattern I liked and proceeded to cast on with some Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Tonal I had in this colorway pictured. Gorgeous, no?
I wear a lot of jeans and t shirts and I thought this would be a good color choice – my Crocs are black.
This yarn knitted up so nice. Springy and squashy (important qualities in a shoe liner). I made them extra big so I could shrink them a bit, maybe even felt them. They haven’t seen the inside of the washer yet, but there is no doubt that the springy and squashy qualities they currently have will be greatly enhanced.
As part of the cuff, I used Clover’s Elastic Thread to keep the cuff stretchy. Probably didn’t need to as the Knit Picks Wool of the Andes was fairly stretchy, but it did give the ribbing a nice memory. That’s definitely on the list of stuff to keep using, that elastic thread.
