I haven’t seen the new Wonder Woman movie yet, but I know it’s awesome and sure to inspire some girls and women to bring a little of that fierce power into their own lives.
The good news is there are a bunch of great Wonder Woman knitting patterns to choose from.
Clementine Knits and Crochets has a great Wonder Woman hat that’s worked as a pretty straightforward beanie, then you pick up stitches for the tiara that’s sewn down to the hat underneath it. And I love all those star buttons!
For another great hat, check out the Wonder Beanie from Christabel Seneque, aka Herbivore Knits. This one uses stranded colorwork for the stars and other details, but isn’t too difficult if you’re comfortable with chart reading.
HoleyHoo Designs has made boot toppers and double knit slippers inspired by Wonder Woman, and Jenny Wren made a fun set of Wonder Woman accessories.
And then there are the sweaters! Check out the amazing Wonder Woman from Natalie Bursztyn and the tutorial for Kristy Lothian’s Wonder Woman sweater (which isn’t really a pattern, but is still pretty darn awesome).
And make sure you don’t miss the Wonder Woman scarf from Konchan le Me. This one is double-layered, and you can knit them separately and sew them together or work it in double knitting.
