Triangular shawls are a lot of fun to knit, and a little scarf or shawl worked in this way is perfect for this time of year, while a bigger version will be great when the weather is cooler.
Either way, Vickie Howell and Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts have got you covered. There’s a cute little scarf called Tri-Light that you’ll find on the Bernat website (you’ll also find it on balls of her cotton yarn(ish) yarn), and you can check out the technique and lots of fun variations in a video Vickie did for Jo-Ann’s YouTube channel. This video will show you the basics so that you can knit the Tri-Light with ease or take the technique and give it your own spin.
Watching this really makes me want to cast on a shawl! How about you? I’d love to hear what you’re working on.

I have made this scarf according to the pattern but it is very short.
Question: Once you have 173 stitches on needles and change to circular needles do you immediately do edging?
Also it calls for 2 balls of yarn but following the instructions you only need 1.
Please advise any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I’m not seeing that the pattern is still available so I’m not sure.
