Leftovers

March 26, by Laura Nixon. 1 Comment

What to do with leftover [tag]sock yarn[/tag]? Knitters around the world often wonder what to do with those bits and pieces. Some save the yarn in little baggies with the ball band and hope to find it when they need to mend the socks. Others pool all the yarns and make hats, blankets or some wild and crazy socks. Others, horror of horrors – I can hardly type this – actually throw it away. Yikes!
Looking on the net for creative ideas for little bits of sock yarn I found this site for [tag]Wee Tiny Sock Swap[/tag]. This is a cute little sock in two versions, toe up or cuff down.

Need to show off the tiny sock? How about a [tag]Sock Blocker Keychain[/tag]? Isn’t that the cutest thing? Find them at [tag]Felt Up[/tag].

Desperately need a skein or even 1/2 skein of Misti Alpaca 80% alpaca, 20% silk in Color #1619 which is a dark teal or dark blue-green. It has been discontinued and I’m 2/3 thru an argyle/lace hat. HELP! Will buy yarn and pay shipping!
