A couple of weeks ago I shared with you a post from Audrey Knight about her process for adding seams to a seamless sweater for extra stability and durability.
Since last we checked in with her she’s now written about determining where and how to place seams for the shoulders (warning: math is involved) and how to finish the neck edging.
This is really good stuff, people. If you’re designing projects for yourself or want to use a finished pattern like she did, adding seams is a great way to reinforce the places that tend to sag or lack stability in a sweater worked completely without seams.
Is this something you would try? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
