A few cute warm-weather projects have caught my eye recently, and I thought I would share some with you in case you’re looking for some summer knitting inspiration.
I can’t stop thinking about the Tribeca Tunic from Lion Brand Yarn, designed by Bobbie Fitzgerald. It has a cool modular design, stripes, a bit of sparkle, even a hidden pocket. So great.
Carioca from Berroco, designed by Allison Green, is a cute little cardigan with lace at the cuffs and hem that makes a simple cotton yarn cardigan something a little more interesting and fun.
If you still like a bit of a scarf, cowl or shawl even when it’s warm out, check out the Signs of Spring Cowl (PDF) from Manos del Uruguay, which uses a fun crossed stitch pattern for ventilation and whimsy; the Among the Wildflowers Kerchief, designed by Sasha Ball Rives of Stitch Space Yarn to help her customers use a single great skein; or the Idina Scarf from Tahki Stacy Charles, which uses a sparkly yarn and a lacy stitch pattern to make the perfect fancy summer accessory.
What are you knitting for summer? I’d love to hear about it!

I’ve been working through my stash and have already printed up both the Tribeca tunic & the Caricoca cardigan. Amazingly enough, I think I have the supplies on hand for both these cuties.
