I haven’t designed anything in a long time. Life got busy and I was having a good time knitting other people’s designs. There’s so much great stuff out there and it’s really nice to have all the thinking done for you!
But I decided this fall I wanted to release a few patterns, and the first one is out now.
The Boxley Scarf is named for the Boxley Valley in Arkansas, which is a good place to see elk. The pattern features a staghorn cable that switches direction in the middle of the scarf so that the sides look the same when you wear it.
I love that it makes a little diamond at the center back.
Using Bernat Softee Chunky, this simple scarf knits up in a flash for the first cold snap, or it’s a great one to add to your gift knitting queue. You can grab it on Ravelry for $2.
