I’ve had this one saved in Pinterest for a long time and I completely forgot about it when I did my pumpkin knitting pattern post a few weeks ago, so I thought I would share now.
This cute pumpkin hat for kids from Living My Simple Life is a fun one because she shows a lot of different variations: ribbed and stockinette, with a straight stem or a curly stem. You could even put a little leaf at the top if you wanted, though that’s not one of her variations.
And because it’s worked in a more of a pumpkin spice orange, this is a hat that works throughout the fall, even after Halloween has come and gone.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
