I hope you’re done with your Christmas knitting by now, but if you want to add one more cute little thing to work on this weekend, check out this lovely little elf from Spud & Chole. (Hat tip to Love Knitting for this one.)
It’s worked in three different colors, one for the body and two for the striped “sweater” the elf wears. He’s also sporting a fun twisted hat and little elfy shoes.
This would be a great last-minute knit to add to a gift bag or tuck inside a stocking. Maybe you can start your own elf tradition, way better than the guy who spies for Santa.
Did you knit anything fun this season? I’d love to hear about it!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
Is there a crochet pattern for the elf?
