There’s something about summer that makes me want to knit with bright colors. This Shifting Rainbow Shawl, a free pattern from Jessie at Home, may be the most colorful pattern I’ve seen in a while.
It’s worked in Garter Stitch with short rows to make each color section different from the others. For that reason it’s rated as an intermediate pattern, but if you’ve worked short rows before this project should be a breeze.
What’s more, it’s worked in affordable With Love yarn by Red Heart, or use any colorful medium-weight yarn you like. You might even find a collection of rainbow-colored skeins from an indie dyer to use if you like.
