Though we’re enduring what I hope will be the last cold snap of spring where I live, I’m already thinking about knitting for true spring and summer.
As I knit the last of a long-neglected lap blanket I’m dreaming of lighter weight cardigans and tops, and lighter fibers than all the smooshy wool I’m using.
So I was happy to come across a couple of new patterns on Bitchcraft that might be just the things I need for the next knitting season.
Lissome is a blocky, roomy, short sleeved, open front cardigan, while Summer Petrichor is a tank top with a lace back. Both are worked in linen yarn for perfect summer wear, and they’re great together as well.
Both patterns are free but only offered in one size, though it’s a pretty room size that will fit a pretty wide range of people.
Are you knitting for summer yet? I’d love to know what you are working on.
