The twisted knit or crocheted headband is a trend that’s been hanging on for a few years, and I really like it. Wide ones like The Grain Headband from Mirella Moments are great because you can use them to keep your ears warm when it’s cold but also just wear like a headband when it’s not so cold.
The headband is knitted flat with chunky yarn, making it a quick-to-knit project. The edges of the finished headband are seamed together forming a cute twist.
These also make great gifts and you don’t have to worry about size because they are pretty stretchy. There’s a coordinating cowl pattern on her website, too.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
