The Yarn Company, a yarn (and fabric) shop on Broadway in New York City, will be featured for the next week, starting tomorrow, on Taxi TV, an in-car video segment on great places to shop produced by the local NBC station.
The whole piece, which features three shopping destinations on the Upper West Side, is only a little more than a minute long, and the Yarn Company just gets a couple of sentences, but hostess Sara Gore says its reminiscent of a ’70s or ’80s era art gallery but with fibers, which sounds pretty cool to me.
It’s nice to see that knitting and craft is such a big deal to some people as it is to us, isn’t it?
