Up here, it’s still cold. Up here, it’s still snowy. Up here, Spring hides until the very last minute, usually around mid to end of April. So, when, this time of year, I see a pattern for something like this it makes me feel like we’re not quite alone in this Northern climate. And when the pattern is free, that’s just icing on the cake. Or a log on the woodstove, or something like that.
At any rate, go here for this pattern from Ramwools.com: http://ramwools.com/featured-designs/ram-wools-designs/shawnigan-jacket-briggs-and-little-country-roving.html
Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
Send some my way:)!

This is just what I’ve been looking for!!
I was at my LYS today looking for a book… I’ve wanted something like this (or a cowichan) for a couple of years now, and haven’t found the right thing. Thanks for the pointer!
