I’m already ready for temperatures to start warming up, and I have lately been thinking of casting on a little lace something. This Ethereal Scarf in Silky Alpaca Lace from Classic Elite Yarns caught my eye for that very reason.
It’s got a cool combination of chevron lace and a really simple repeating eyelet pattern that would be easy to memorize once you’ve done a few rows.
What’s even better is that it only uses one ball of yarn, so this is an economical, easy to travel with project. And to continue the theme you might even have a ball of yarn in your stash that would work for this lovely springtime project!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
