This one might be better for people who are heading into summer rather than those closer to winter, unless you knit really fast, but I couldn’t help but share what looks to me like the ideal cardigan to knit for the beach or anywhere else you might need a little extra layer when it’s warm out.
The Sandshore cardigan from Alicia Plummer is worked in aran weight yarn and is mostly Stockinette with panels of eyelets to increase air flow.
It’s worked from the top down in one piece with eyelets in the raglan shaping, too. It’s available in 10 sizes up to a 67 inch chest and is meant to be worn open.
Grab the pattern from Ravelry.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
