There are a ton of cute baby knitting patterns out there (I’ve written a book full of them, so I should know). But one thing that’s great about babies is that you can stitch things that are a little silly or extra cutesy and they look even more adorable on a small person.
The Watermelon Baby Cardigan from Stitchylinda Designs is an example. Though honestly I know some adults who might want to wear a watermelon cardigan, too.
This is a great option for a summer baby (there’s a matching hat, too) or if you don’t love the watermelon look you can change up the colors or even knit it in one color for a really cute design that has no resemblance to a fruit.
The free pattern is available on Ravelry.
