This pretty colorwork shawl was designed by Svetlana Gordon as a statement against the Russian occupation of Ukraine.
On her Ravelry profile page she says:
I refuse to accept the actions of the Russian Federation government and Russian troops invading the territory of Ukraine. I’ve made a decision to move my business from Russia to Israel.
This pattern uses two colors of yarn (the original combined a fingering weight and a worsted weight, but you can use any weight with corresponding needles to get shawls of varying sizes).
It uses short rows to make the leaf patterns and the rest is worked in stripes. The pattern is available for free on Ravelry in English and German.
