Brooklyn Tweed just released its latest pattern collection, Wool People 7. The book is inspired by the clean simplicity and beauty of Japanese knitting patterns and books.
The look book offers details on the 15 patterns — 11 sweaters and 4 accessories — as well as lots of beautiful pictures and yarn information.
Some of my favorites are Carol Feller’s Pente, a drapey, bias knit coat with beautiful stripes; Seacoast, a simple yoked boatneck by Joji Locatelli; Vector by Tanis Lavallée, a bias knit gradient garter stitch scarf or wrap; and Tokuko Ochiai’s Yane, a sleek pullover with bold chevron arrows on the front.
Patterns are available as PDF downloads for $6.50 or $7 each.
See anything you like? I’d love to hear what’s going in your queue.
