lace top berrocoSince it’s been in the 80s most of this week, I am definitely thinking about summer knitting.

Desertbloom, a pretty free pattern from Berroco, would be the perfect thing to add to your queue if you like knitting — and still wearing knits — in the summer.

This tunic-length short-sleeved top has lace panels at the top and bottom and side slits for extra breathability.

It’s worked in Maya, a lovely cotton/alpaca chain yarn that’s shiny and silky and fun to wear. I’ve played with it a bit and really enjoyed it.
