Do you like to pick up rocks from special places? I have a little rock collection, and so does my daughter, and while not all of them are suitable for this kind of project, some smallish special rocks can be turned into jewelry with the help of this pattern.
A Stones Throw by Susan Barstein is a free pattern on Ravelry that shows you how to knit a necklace that holds a rock in a pouch.
This might be just the thing to do with the rock I picked up the first time I went to the ocean!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
Rock necklace, I love it I have been collecting rock from around the world for years. I will be busy now. Thanks love love love it!!!!
