Lightweight sweaters are great to have around this time of year (whether it’s spring or fall where you live). They’re easy to slip on when there’s a little chill in the air and to shed when it gets warmer.
I’m completely in love with Graphite from Berroco for this purpose. This pretty sweater has a simple silhouette — it’s a A-line worked in the round from the bottom up in stockinette stitch. But the effect is really lovely thanks in part to the yarn, Folio, which is a superfine alpaca and rayon blend with lovely shine and drape.
Of course that also means that this sweater will be plenty warm for cool evening walks and will make you look dressed up even though it’s a super comfortable sweater. Sounds good to me!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
That is a beautiful pattern! I love it because it’s tailored a bit in the middle, so it wouldn’t make me look as “fluffy” as it would if it were straight on the sides.
