This sweater design from Amy Christoffers, called Langley, is so lovely it’s sure to cause some knitters to add “knit a colorwork yoke sweater” to their New Year’s resolutions.
What’s great about this one is that while it looks complex, and that is a fair bit of colorwork, it’s all accomplished with just two strands of yarn. The colorwork is done in a multicolored yarn that makes it look that much more complex without any extra effort on your part.
The pattern is worked in the round from the top down and is offered in 9 sizes up to 67 3/4 circumference. It’s meant to be worn with 2 to 4 inches of positive ease.
You can download the free pattern from the Berroco website.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
