Recently I was looking for a rainbow shawl to make for a friend who is starting chemo. I know I could make any shawl pattern into a rainbow shawl, but I needed something fast that I didn’t have to think about.
I picked Rainbow Dash by Benjamin Matthews, which is really cute and easy and squishy and comforting, just what I needed (bonus: I had all the yarn on hand because it uses worsted weight).
But if Anna Maltz’s Kleur pattern had come out a little earlier, or if I’d had a little more time for knitting (since it is worked in fingering weight) I would have loved to make it for my friend.
I will definitely be making one for someone soon.
It combines black and white stripes and wedges of color in a gorgeous way and its seriously stunning.
The pattern is available on Ravelry for £4.50, or $6.13 as of this writing.
