Every year there seems to be a new crop of Easter Bunny knitting patterns, and the great thing about these projects is they are usually pretty quick to knit for some sweet new holiday decor.
Here’s a quick rundown of some of the new Easter Bunny knitting patterns I’ve spotted recently.
I love this Peep-inspired Marshmallow Easter Bunny from Clickety Sticks. And I don’t like the food ones so this is way better for me! The pattern is worked flat in two pieces and uses worsted weight yarn.
Bebe Bunny from Amanda Keeys is a sweet, chubby little bunny perfect for a kiddo to use as a lovey. They’re about 8.5 inches tall (not counting ears) and worked in Aran weight yarn. The pattern can be found on Ravelry and is $6.20.
The similarly named Bébé Bunny by Heliinä Murray is rounder and has super long ears, and you can make it different sizes from tiny to tall depending on the weight of yarn you use. This pattern is $8 Canadian.
Claire Garland’s Cinnamon Dutch bunny is the most realistic looking bunny of the bunch, though you could work it in less realistic colors if you want to. But as is, it’s very realistic. It uses DK weight yarn and is £1.
Heidi the Bunny, designed by Philine Tucker, is a classic little doll bunny, complete with a sweet little dress (the top is part of the body). She’s worked in light DK weight yarn and has the sweetest little pom-pom tail. You can grab the pattern for $5.50.
Anna Karelina’s Easter bunnies look a little like Easter eggs, and would be a super fun decoration in a mass on a table or in a basket (I’ll bet kids would come up with some kind of game to play with them). These use a worsted weight yarn and the pattern is $5.
The Bunny Wobblers from Cindy Pilon would also be fun in a bunch to make a bunny bowling game or something like that. Their little round wobbly bodies are so cute! Stitch these up with two strands of worsted held together (or a bulky yarn) and they’ll stitch up in a flash. This pattern is $7.
And finally, Cilla Webb’s Bunny Buddies are sweet little round rabbits that remind me a little of M&Ms. These are 11 cm tall (that’s a little more than 4 inches) so you could probably even fit one in an Easter egg if you wanted. The pattern is a free download on Ravelry.
