I prefer my knitting with needles most of the time, but I get that finger knitting, arm knitting, spindle knitting and loom knitting are great alternatives and can serve as a gateway to picking up needles for some.
The problem with something like finger knitting, though, is that you just end up with a long cord and you might not know what to do with it.
Giustina from Blissfully Domestic shared this idea for wrapping a finger knit cord around a wreath form and adding some cute felt flowers to make a great piece of decor for winter (hers is white) or beyond.
It would be easy to make a bunch of these for different seasons or holidays if you like the look, with different colored flowers or other decorations.
And if you’ve never tried finger knitting before, she also has a tutorial that covers the basics of how to make the cord for this project.
Have you done finger knitting? What did you do with the knit cord?
