Five Fun Ways to Finish Your Knit Edges

August 11, by Sarah White. 2 Comments

fun knit edgings to change the look of your projectsA relatively easy way to change up a knitting project is to use a different edging. Sometimes there’s a good reason for a particular edge technique to be used, but often you can change it up to make it your own and add a little more interest.

Craftsy has a great rundown of five different kids of edgings you can add to knit projects, from sweet picots to simple Stockinette hems and i-cord edging.

I’ve used all of these at one time or another and it’s so fun to try different things and see how they give your work a different look.

Do you have a favorite kind of knit edging? I’d love to hear about it!
