Speaking of mochimochi (or amigirumi, if you prefer the term taken from crochet), here’s a really cute little pattern for a knit Baby Bear ala Goldilocks.
This little guy comes together quickly with scraps and you could easily make it a girl instead of a boy by making a little skirt instead of shorts.
This pattern comes from Fiona Goble’s recently released Fairy Tale Knits, which includes 20 characters from classic tales that you can knit. What a great holiday present some of these cuties and their books would be!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home.
