Free Pattern – Mosaic Diamonds Blanket

March 31, 2023 by Shellie Wilson

As a knitter, I am always on the lookout for new and challenging patterns to add to my collection. When I came across the Mosaic Diamonds knit blanket pattern, I knew I had to give it a try. Although I haven’t made it yet, I can already tell that this pattern will be a stunning addition to my home.

The modern geometric design of this throw is sure to make a statement in any room. The use of Bernat Blanket Big Ball yarn will create a warm and cozy blanket that will stand the test of time. The yarn is soft, durable, and easy to work with, making it the perfect choice for this project. The finished size of 55 x 58 inches will be perfect for snuggling up on the couch or to add an extra layer of warmth to your bed.

The pattern is marked as intermediate knit and it includes some advanced techniques such as mosaic knitting, which I think will be a great challenge and opportunity to learn something new. I am looking forward to using the 36″ (90 cm) circular needle size 11 (8.0 mm) to create a tight gauge that will give the blanket a nice drape.

I am excited to start this project and I am confident that the finished product will be a beautiful and modern addition to my home. I can’t wait to show it off to my friends and family. I highly recommend this pattern to any intermediate knitter looking for a new challenge and a beautiful statement piece for their home.
