Xandy Peters is always doing amazing things with colors, and their Bonfire Cowl is a fun but relatively easy way to use up a bunch of scraps without making a project that looks too “scrappy.”
The trick is making magic balls, and alternating between two different balls so that the colors mix a little more gently.
The stitch pattern is inspired by bargello patterns and flame stitch patterns from the Victorian era, and this generous cowl will keep you cozy at the fireside or anywhere else.
It calls for fingering weight yarn and has two options for length. Learn more on Ravelry.
