This project is so funny I just couldn’t resist sharing it.
How great would it be to equip your dining room tables and chairs with elf shoes for your holiday party? Or to yarn bomb a chair in your favorite teacher’s classroom (especially if they have a class elf you can blame it on)?
All of that is possible with the elf shoe table leg cover pattern from A.C. Moore.
The original pattern is for a leg with an 8-inch circumference, but they are basically tiny socks so you could adjust the pattern easily to the table or chair that you want to embellish.
It’s a great little stash-busting project, too, because you could use all kinds of odd balls for the stripes.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
