I’m still in a bit of denial about how soon the holidays will be here, but if you are more of a planner than I am (and you should be!), you might be interested to know about Red Heart’s 12 weeks of Christmas patterns.
Each week they are highlighting a few different patterns, be they knit, crochet or yarn art more generally.
New patterns are released each week, and as I write this they’re at the halfway point so there’s already a lot to choose from. You can knit a Christmas pickle or a sweet girl’s dress, make pompoms for your tree or these cute Fair Isle Santas/wise men.
I’ll warn you these patterns will probably make you wish you could crochet if you can’t , because there’s some great crochet stuff over there, too.
What are you making for the holidays? I’d love to hear about it!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
