Liat Gat of KNITFreedom is known for her great videos that take the mystery out of knitting techniques. She’s done great video libraries of cast ons and binds off that are super references for when you want to try a new technique or find the perfect beginning or ending for a project.
Her latest course with tutorials and videos is called Fantastic Mosaics. Mosaic knitting is a kind of colorwork where you slip stitches strategically to make a two-color pattern in your knit fabric while only working with one color yarn at a time.
It’s really easy and fun and I don’t think most knitters use this technique enough.
Liat’s course takes you through the basics, with learning swatches, tips and techniques, up to more advanced projects that use charts (don’t worry, they’re still pretty easy). The course includes a pattern of hers and links to other free patterns that use the technique.
This week I’m giving away this course to one of you! It’s a web or PDF based course with videos, and it’s a great way to learn this technique. The course is valued at $43.99.
Just to be different this week we’re trying a Rafflecopter. Leave a comment then click on the Rafflecopter link to let me know that you did. Hitting up our Facebook pages will get you more entries.
Thanks for visiting, commenting and sharing!

I’ve pretended to do some spring cleaning, but mostly I just kind of go through stuff and toss out the junk mail, sort all the magazines and books together, put the yarn into big plastic bins. Every little bit helps! 🙂
