Giveaway: Under 100 Knit Collection

May 2, by Sarah White. 51 Comments

under 100 knit collection

Congratulations to Donna!

It’s become a semiannual tradition to give away a copy of the Under 100 Knit Collection from Knit Picks because there’s always such a great response to it.

This book packs 30 patterns, for projects ranging from hats to mitts, cowls to boot toppers, even wee shawls and socks, all of which use 100 grams of yarn or less. (You can see all the patterns on Ravelry.)

It’s perfect for when you have one ball of a cherished yarn you actually want to knit with but have no idea what to make. Or when you want to use up odd balls on a little project that can handle different colors in stripes or colorwork.

The projects make great gifts, too, and there’s something especially gratifying about using your stash to make something special for someone else.

If you’d like a chance to win a copy of this book, and you live in the United States, leave a comment on this post by the end of the day Sunday, May 8. I’d love to hear about a special little skein that’s been waiting in your stash for the perfect project. I actually have a couple of skeins of Knit Picks Diadem — a combo of alpaca and mulberry silk — I need to find a project for. A tiny shawl would probably be just the thing.

Thanks for visiting, commenting and sharing, and good luck!

Love this idea! I never know how to use up the sizeable remnants left over from larger skeins. Would love to win this!
