Making friendship bracelets is a phase that I really hope still happens for kids (I still have the bracelet the first boy I ever had a crush on made for me!). There are a lot of different kinds of bracelets kids can make to share with their friends, but this little knit friendship bracelet from Knits’ End is really cute and pretty easy even for beginner knitters.
It has a little bit of a twist (not quite a cable) worked into the stitches for added interest, but honestly you could just knit a bracelet out of Garter Stitch, too (I’ve done that for my daughter, and it’s a great first knitting project).
Either way it won’t take long to stitch up a bunch of bracelets to give to kids.
Do you have a friendship bracelet story? I’d love to hear it!
