Knitters can sometimes have trouble coming up with projects they actually want to knit and wear when it’s hot outside. They often end up knitting accessories because they are small, easy to carry around as you knit on vacation and you can use them right away and throughout the year.
So it is with the Summer Twirl Headband from Fan of Stuff. This little cabled headband has I-cord ties so you can make it fit your head perfectly.
The main panel is worked in a simple cable pattern, and you can make the headband in cotton yarn or a lighter weight yarn for this time of year, and make another in wool to wear when it’s cooler (or in the opposite order if you live in the Southern Hemisphere and it’s cold now!).
What have you been knitting this summer? I’d love to hear about it!
