Sometimes it’s a wonderful thing to follow a lot of different knitting related pages on Facebook, because you’re always coming across things you want to knit. I guess that can sometimes be a bad thing, too!
Anyway, I happened to catch a sneak peek of In the Stacks, a shawl pattern inspired by rows of metal library shelves. Designed by Jennifer Weissman, it includes easy diagonal lace and is shaped like a rectangle with pointed ends.
There are single color and two color versions available from Miss Babs (which is where the gorgeous yarn came from) and the pattern can be purchased from Ravelry for $6.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
