Baby knits are so much fun because it’s totally normal to add a fuzzy animal or sweet ears or something totally cute to an otherwise plain design.
The Bear-y Cozy Baby Blanket from Yarnspirations is a great example of this. It’s mostly just a simple Stockinette blanket, but the addition of a little face and bear ears makes it that much cuter.
The pattern uses Bernat Baby Blanket yarn and is easier than it looks because, while the snout is knit with intarsia, the other details of the face are worked in duplicate stitch, so you’re not working with three colors at a time.
