I am trying to convince myself that winter is nearly over in the Northern Hemisphere, but I know better than to believe that. There’s still plenty of time for knitting warm things for cold weather, and if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere it’s a fine time to start knitting for cooler days ahead.
The Amelia Hat from Joan Ho is a great choice if you need a really warm hat. It’s an earflap hat lined with faux fur yarn, making it extra warm and cozy.
It’s sized for babies up to adult men, and uses aran weight yarn in addition to the fur yarn to make a super cozy double-layered hat.
The pattern is available on Ravelry.

I mentioned the other day that there are, or at least it feels like there are, a lot more options for knitting garments to wear in the summer, and I want to share as many of them as I can, but it’s sometimes hard to classify them in a way that makes sense. Thus the collection of knit summer tops with fun necklines. Enjoy.
